I’ve been waiting to see Katharine McPhee in a musical since she lost out to Taylor Hicks on American Idol back in 2006. I heard about her new show Smash when she was plugging it on The Voice last year (The Voice UK will begin in March!). Also due to air in early Spring on Sky Atlantic Smash is being described as ‘Glee for adults’. Judging by the trailer the only thing the two shows have in common is the singing. Either way this show is right up my street! Can’t hardly wait.
