WATCH: Best Makeup Tutorials

YouTube has always been a great source for makeup and hair tutorials but amongst the great ones are some really horrendous videos! I’ve been a makeup artist for a while now so over the years of scouring for tutorials I can now share with you the best of those. These girl’s are my favourites and there’s something for everybody!

Camila Coelho – MakeUpByCamila2 (She has a Portuguese channel too but started an English one about a year ago. Worth checking out her other channel too MakeUpByCamila)

Chloe Morello – ChloeMorello (She has the best eyebrows!)

Lyric Rochester – JamaicanMakeUpArtist (I love her accent, she’s so cute!)

Alli – MakeUpByAlli

Michelle Phan – MichellePhan

COVET: Alice Tait’s map prints, £17.99 (print only) £89.99 (framed) – I love the Paris print!

EAT: Namaste Kitchen, 64 Parkway, Camden, NW1 7AH – Modern Indian beautifully presented at a very reasonable price. Delicious food and with an open grill in the back the aroma will have you wanting everything on the menu!

DO: Lichtenstein: A Retrospective – an exhibition at the Tate Modern, open now and closes 27th May

WATCH: “Untouchable” (“The Intouchables”) – A delightful French comedy (yes, you heard me right. French comedy!) about an unlikely pair – a quadriplegic aristocrat who was injured in a paragliding accident and a young man from the projects. At times sentimental but will have you laughing all the way through from the opening scene. You will not want it to end.

To do list for 2013…

WATCH: The Little Paris Kitchen: Cooking with Rachel Khoo

Since watching Julie & Julia (2009) I have grown a little obsessed with French cooking but have shied away from actually trying to cook it since it seemed complicated and well, too much like hard work! Then I woke up late one morning, missed my dose of Saturday Kitchen and stumbled upon the delight that is Rachel Khoo. I ordered her cook book straight away! I’m now going to make Creme Patissiere and put it in EVERYTHING!

Watch The Little Paris Kitchen: Cooking with Rachel Khoo on Mondays, 8.30pm on BBC Two or watch on demand on BBC iPlayer.
